US Manufacturing Survey Shows Worst Reading In A Decade — The ISM U.S. manufacturing purchasing managers’ index came in at 47.8% in September, the lowest since June 2009. AJC Investigation Finds Mistreatment At Senior Care Facilities —  Suspicious deaths and allegations of mistreatment in senior care facilities can routinely go unreported to law enforcement and prosecutors. According to an investigation by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, there’s a breakdown that allows abusive or neglectful caregivers to escape punishment and continue to work around seniors.
