Are Rising Rates On The Long-Term Horizon?–  Osterweis Capital Management believes the Federal Reserve is likely to complete its asset purchases this year and may raise rates in early 2015.  Because of this, they feel that treasuries and investment grade bonds are unattractive.  They also believe that maintaining a shorter duration exposure in high yield and some convertible bonds, as well as a cash reserve, continues to make sense.  http://www.advisorperspectives.com/commentaries/osterweis_041714.php
